RheaECD is the economic development engine driving Rhea County, Tennessee’s economy forward. Located within a day’s drive of most major East Coast cities, Rhea County enjoys a rich history of advanced energy investment, including being the home of TVA’s Watts Bar Nuclear Plant and Watts Bar Dam in Spring City, Tenn.

With advanced energy facilities like TVA’s Sequoyah Nuclear Plant within a half-hour drive to the south, as well as Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Y-12 National Security Complex a 1.5-hour drive to the north, Rhea County stands ready to provide workforce and real estate assets in East Tennessee to support America’s advanced energy sector.
